On
the highest part of the Caseo Estate, one of the sunniest,
is located a vast vineyard of Croatina grapes, whose full
lenght and more is bordered by thick thorn bushes. In September
when the thorn bushes are in full bloom with big, ripe blackberries,
it seems as if there is an indescribable match between beauty
and opulence of the two neighbouring fruits and the thorn
bushes look as if they are a natural extension of the vineyard.
This is the reason why we have named this superb wine Bonarda,
made from the Croatina grapes from this vineyard, "Costa
delle More" (Blackberry Hill).
