The cellar was already in use during Visconti times.
Recently it was completely renovated with an up-to-date
equipment, though in the full respect of the tradition.
THe historical environments have been allotted to the
barrel maturation and to the refining processes of the
most valuable wines. The cellar presently has a 2.500
hl capacitly, of which 500 hl is in barriques and 2.000
hl in stainless vats. After an adequate period of maturation
and, for some wines, of barrel refining, all wines are
bottled in the Caseo cellar.
